March is almost here…… here’s what’s happening at Southlake Neighbourhood centre;
1st & 2nd March- “Working in MS Word” computer course 10am- 1pm. Bookings essential on 49737000.
4th March- “Families Forum” 2.30-4pm. An opportunity for professionals working with children & families to discuss issues in the Southlake area.
8th, 15th & 22nd March- “Triple P; Positive Parenting Program”- Free sessions and childcare in partnership with Wesley & CALM. Places limited & bookings essential. Please see flyer click here.
7th March- “Clean up Australia Day”- Join us to help clean up, fix up and conserve the environment. Meet at Morisset Multipurpose Centre 9am- 12. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, gloves and sturdy shoes!
9th March- “Sustainable Neighborhoods Workshop” in connection with Lake Macquarie City Council. 6pm for a 6.30 start at MORISSET COUNTRY CLUB. Free workshop and childcare.
9th March- “Autism Spectrum Disorder Parent Support Group”. First meeting 7-9pm- this is a new group formed as a result of parents voicing their concerns for the lack of support in the Southlake area. The group is facilitated and supported by Firstchance Inc. Please see flyer attached click here.
22-26th March (Seniors Week)- “Seniors on the Information Highway”; 10am -12 daily, join us for free morning tea, free tutorials, computer use, information on courses, home set up and displays click here for details.
25th March- “First Aid Certificate”; provided by The First Aid Training Company $120, 9.30-3.30pm. Limited places available. Phone 49737000 to book in.
